Uncovering satan - The complete series

This is the complete Be Free Ministries series on Uncovering satan. In this series we uncover the lies and look at the real power we as born again believers have over satan through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Before we continue lets pray about what is already ours in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 1:17-19, Colossians 1:27 (Put your name in there.)

Father open my eyes of my understanding, help me direct my imagination to see the hope of your calling, help me know the exceeding greatness of your power, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, and the riches of the glory of your inheritance that's in me, also Father that you reveal Christ in me the hope of all glory, thank you in Jesus name amen.

Part one: Who is satan?

We are not given a detailed account in the Bible of satans origin but we do know that satan was one of God's angels created by Him to carry out His will.

At some point in time this angelic creature was in an unfallen sinless state and in one accord with God along with the rest of creation. This angel then chose to rebel against God due to pride and selfish ambition and when he rebelled he took a number of angels with him. When this happened he lost his favoured position that he had with God and became satan or the 'adversary'. He is not God's counterpart, because God has no equal, no opposite. God has always existed, and everything else that exists now, including angels, were created by God.

We see in Genesis 3 the first account of satan in action but before we look at this account, its important to recognise and realise here what God said about man in genesis 1:26-28, that man shall have dominion over every living thing that moves on the earth. Satan knew this and he knew that this is the only way that he could come against God by manipulating and deceiving man. He knows that his only power is by using man to carry out his deeds. So we look at Genesis 3:1-6 in the garden of Eden where satan takes the form of a serpent to deceive and tempt adam and eve to sin. His temptation succeeded as they took the apple off the tree, and sin entered the previously perfect world.

Satan, or the Devil, is described as many other different names in the Bible which all build a picture of his evil character. The main characteristics we read about this creature are his hostility, cunning, power, and evil intent toward God and His people.

He is described as; lucifer (Isaiah 14:12), son of the morning (Isaiah 14:12), day-star (Isaiah 14:12), the anointed cherub (Ezekiel 28:14), tempter (Matthew 4:3), accuser (Revelation 12:10), liar and the father of lies (John 8:44), enemy (Matthew 13:39), adversary (1 Peter 5:8), evil one (Matthew 13:19), murderer (John 8:44), ruler of this world (John 14:30), ruler of the kingdom of the air (Ephesians 2:2), god of this age (2 Corinthians 4:4), deceiver of the whole world (Revelation 12:9), old serpent (Revelation 12:9), dragon (Revelation 12:9), roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8), ruler of the demons (Matthew 9:34), beelzebub (Matthew 12:24), angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14), belial (2 Corinthians 16:15).

So we can now understand the true character of satan, or the devil. He was a created angel who was perfect in all his ways who decided to rebel against God. In doing so he used man to bring sin into the universe and he continues to use man leading them into darkness to fulfil his deeds as we shall see in the next chapter.

Part two: satan cannot access our minds

Now there is way too much tradition, religion, unbelief that comes from the kingdom of satan that had kept my mind in bondage, but I am now one hundred percent free and in this article we have this revelation which will set you free also. Let's turn to the truth that sets us free (John 8:32), which it has myself and others who have taken this revelation, so it will do the same for you in Jesus name amen.

This is about freedom from the bondage of our minds and realising that satan can’t access our minds, revealed by the mind of Christ Jesus, For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ” 1 Corinthians 2:16.

What an awesome truth, therefore we know everything that Jesus Knows. This is made very clear in our born again spirits (John 3:3) “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see, (meaning understand the mysteries of) the Kingdom of God”. Therefore, all that is in Christ is now in you (1 John 4:17) “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

It all started here at Ephesians 6:16, “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one”. So my question was Lord what's this fiery dart? My natural mind would think of darts and a dart board, and I thought that the wicked one the devil could put his thoughts in my mind and control my thinking and way of life. But God opened my mind and He took me step by step, from here back to verse 11, “the wiles of the devil”, and the meaning of ‘wiles’ is lie, trickery which reveals the fiery darts.

Then He the Holy Spirit our teacher said the devil cannot put thoughts directly in your mind and cannot read or know what you are thinking, so I asked Him to show me. He took me to 1 Corinthians 2:10, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.” So I said ok awesome, He said continue, verse 11, “for what man knoweth the things (meaning the mind) of a man, save (meaning except) the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man but the Spirit of God”.

So I got it, just as no demon devil can know Gods thoughts, no devil knows mine, thank you Lord. So then He took me to Genesis chapter 3:1-6. Satan revealed himself through a snake, a serpent to communicate with eve, so he needs an object or a person to feed his lies. Then He took me to Matthew 4:1-10 which got me focused on verse 1 “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness” This was desolate, no one else around, no man only the Holy Spirit and Jesus and the devil. This was a one on one, Jesus in the Spirit against the devil, that's why He fasted for forty days and nights; it was time to take back what you stole from my creation, from Adam and Eve. Well we know the outcome if you have been feeding yourself on the living Word. Now I hope you are starting to see with the eyes and ears of your heart of the Holy Spirit within you (Revelation 2:7).

I was taken to Mark 4:15, And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts”.

Now Jesus reveals how the devil does this in verse 17 ‘affliction’ (pressure, troubles, burdened, persecution) and verse 19 “the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches”. So he can only use people and distractions, that's why we are told people are not our problem but rather the forces behind them, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” Ephesians 6:12.

Now brothers and sisters we know that we are not of this world, only in it (John 17:16) which brings us to our next point in Matthew 16:23, “But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Now here Peter was operating out of his carnal mind, Jesus was telling him and us that Satan is carnal, he only knows what you know in the natural realm, many miss that last part (but the things of men). Therefore Jesus was identifying satan with man, well we should all know how and why that is so (Genesis chapter 3). But we need to understand that Peter was not born again and baptized at this point until the day of Pentecost (Acts chapter 2) like we are as born again Christians and that Jesus never fulfilled our Fathers will at that point, only at the cross (John 19:20) IT IS FINISHED. From looking at Ephesians 2:2-3 we know that we were of the world “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath even as others”. But if you continue reading that whole chapter it is clear that we are no longer of this world.

We can also look at Ananias by reading through Acts 5:1-10. Now take note Ananias and his wife were not born again. How do I know this well, it says verse 1 “But a certain man named Ananias” Wherever you don't see in the Word of God an identification, i.e. a brother or sister in Christ, the Bible always identifies a believer. Now hopefully you have looked at these verses. Now they were liars, coveting, and trying to deceive the Holy Spirit, not a good place to find ones self, but look at verse 3 “But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost and to keep back part of the land?” So how did Satan get to his heart (mind)? He was still under the control of the devil (Ephesians 2:2) and not born again. Now we know that there were others that came under that same judgement and death, Herod (Acts 12:23) and in 1 Corinthians 11:27-30.

So the devil has NO access to your mind as a born again Christian. He can no longer put thoughts into your mind. When you look at the word afflictions (influence) that is how he tries but no more because you now know the truth. He needs to use people and so look at 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober (meaning discreet, watch), be vigilant (meaning awake); because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion (with no teeth – I needed to put that in!), walks about seeking whom he may devour”. Satan comes with problems, he brings all the garbage from this world by using people then tv, media etc. But now we are aware of this all we need to do is “submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you” James 4:7.

We are warned so many times by our Lord about his influence which we must be vigilant of, (Matthew 24:4-5, Matthew 7:15, Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22, 1 Corinthians 15:15, 2 Corinthians 11:13, 2 Peter 2:1, 1 John 4:1.)

So to conclude this article, take heed to what you hear, it's our responsibility and no one else's, we have been delivered from the power of darkness (Colossians 1:13) “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us in the Kingdom of his dear Son”, which is the KINGDOM OF LIGHT (John 1:1-9). So let's continue to renew our minds (Romans 12:2) “And be not conformed (meaning same pattern thinking) to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (meaning with the word of God) that ye may prove what is that GOOD, and ACCEPTABLE, and PERFECT, will of God”.

Commit your life to the Holy Spirit he will take control if you trust him, which is faith. And enjoy your salvation in which Christ redeemed us of and for in abundance (John 10:10). I encourage you my beloved brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus our Lord and saviour to jump in the living Word and grow in faith and truth in GODS awesome Grace. Remember Our Great Shepherd (John 10:4-5), “and when he brings out his own sheep (meaning YOU), he goes before them; and the sheep follow him, for they know his voice (meaning the living Word). Yet they will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice (meaning lies or anything that’s not been written) of strangers."

And continue in our blessing in Christ (Ephesians 1:2-3) in Jesus name amen.

Part 3: Battle of the mind: Flesh vs Spirit

I have seen a lot of Christian book titles entitled battle of the mind, all of which in my opinion miss the mark of the exact issue we as Christians have to deal with in our minds. In our article satan cannot access our minds, we recognised that as born again believers in Christ Jesus that satan can’t access our minds, put thoughts in our minds, read our minds or have dominion over us. So what is the battle? I would like to try and simplify it as this; externally our battle is with satan and the world (Ephesians 6:12, John 16:33) and internally we are dealing with the flesh as we are told in Galatians 5:17, “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.” The Spirit here is referring to the Holy Spirit who joins with our spirit (1 Corinthians 6:17) and who now dwells in us (1 Corinthians 3:16).

I believe where the church is getting it wrong is that it is referring to sin, sin nature, flesh, old man, carnal etc as satan. Now this is true for those who don’t believe in Jesus and who haven’t yet received salvation, they will be dominated and influenced by their flesh and are wide open to be used by satan. But for those of us who are born again believers in Christ Jesus this is not the case. This WAS our way of life before salvation (Ephesians 2:3) but we are now new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17) and through Him we should walk in newness of life (Romans 6:4).

Now the term flesh here is not referring to the flesh as in our physical bodies (Genesis 2:21), but rather the flesh which is also referred to as our old man/sin nature/carnal mind. This was inherited and transmitted to every human being born into this world after the fall when adam and eve disobeyed Gods command not to eat off of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 3:11) and we became cursed (Genesis 3:17).

Let’s look at some of the attributes of the flesh as described in scripture,

“Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries,” Galatians 5:19-21.

“Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry” Colossians 3:5.

“But now you yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.” Colossians 3:8.

We can all relate to the apostle Paul when he recognised the flesh in Romans 7.

“For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin. For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate. Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good. So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me”.

So Paul asks the question in verse 24, “Who will deliver me from this body of death?” And we are given the answer in verse 25, “Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then I myself serve the law of God with my mind but with my flesh I serve the law of sin”. Now the whole of Romans chapter 8 is about the victory we have over the flesh as believers in Christ Jesus.

“For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death” Here in Romans 8:2 we are told that we are made (past tense of the word make) free from the law which Paul speaks about in Romans 7.

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree")” Galatians 3:13

So we know why we are free, thanks be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but how do we overcome the flesh in our daily lives?

The answer is to yield to the Holy Spirit by walking in the Spirit so we shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16). Jesus tells us in John 15:4-5 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” We can’t use or follow our strength; it is only through His strength in us that allows us to overcome the flesh.” The result of walking in the spirit is evident in our lives. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” Galatians 5:22-23

Now it’s interesting when you look at these verses above together. Use your imagination which our Blessed Lord has given us to picture all this. Perhaps whilst writing Galatians Paul got this image of ‘fruit’ from Jesus when he talks about the ‘vine’ and ‘fruit’. So if our Christian walk is to be a walk of love and joy and peace, then “walk by the Spirit” must mean “bear the fruit of the Spirit.” But again, it’s not our work but the Spirit’s work which is emphasized. He bears the fruit.

So we know the answer to overcoming the flesh is by walking in the spirit but another question I hear you ask. How do we walk in the spirit? The answer is faith.

Galatians 5:6, “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love” Faith always produces love as faith pushes out fear, guilt and greed and gives us a passion to enjoy God’s power. Galatians 5:22 says love is a fruit of the Spirit. So if love is what faith necessarily produces and love is a fruit of the Spirit, then the way to walk by the Spirit is to have faith. Galatians 3:23, “But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed”. Then Galatians 5:18, “But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law”. So a person is free from being under the law by the coming of faith and we are led by the Spirit by faith. To again emphasise the importance of faith, Galatians 3:5, “Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?” The Spirit does His awesome work in us and through us only by the hearing of faith. By faith alone we are sanctified. The way to walk by the Spirit and so not fulfil the desires of the flesh is to hear, trust, delight and rest in the promises of God.

Lastly on the subject of faith, a powerful verse in Galatians 2:20, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh (meaning physical body) I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me”. Galatians 2:20. By faith the only way to walk in victory is to let Christ live through us. Notice here that we had to use Gods supernatural faith even to do this! (Ephesians 2:8). Paul emphasises this twice in Galatians 2:16, ‘faith of Jesus Christ’ which we received as a gift through hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17).

Another part of this process involves renewing our minds. “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2. By changing the way we think to believe what God says in His Word about who we are as new creations in Him, then the agreement between our soul and spirit forms a majority and our flesh will experience the life of God that is in our spirit. If we keep our minds stayed on God through the study of His Word and fellowship with Him then we will have perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3).

One for the imagination. To use an analogy we are like a computer. Our body is the hardware and our spiritual makeup is like the computer software. We had an old programme (flesh) operating the computer system which was causing the computer to function improperly. When we became born again we were given and downloaded an outstanding and efficient new system (by receiving the Holy Spirit). The old operating system won’t be deleted until we receive our glorified bodies after physical death but the new operating system has been downloaded for us as the best system to operate our computer effectively from the day of our salvation then throughout eternity.

In this article I’ve used the word battle here to emphasise the point of this particular subject but we must remember that the battle has already been won at the cross as Jesus victoriously reminds us, IT IS FINISHED! (John 19:30). Moving forwards in our walk with Christ, the answer is clear. We stop trying to fill the emptiness of our lives with the things of the world, and put our souls at rest in God. The Spirit will work the miracle of regeneration in your life when your heart is resting in the promises of God day and night (Joshua 1:8).

I say to you, brothers and sisters, walk by the Spirit, and you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh. Look into your spiritual mirror by reading God’s Word and become rooted, grounded and established in the Word of God by giving God's Word first place in your life today! (Colossians. 1:23, Psalm 112).

Part 4: Temptation

Now brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus our Blessed Lord and Savior, this is part four of our uncovering satan series.

So let's jump back into the living Word and get blessed and edified. So we now know the devil has no control over you as we have been taken out of the kingdom of this world (meaning darkness) and have been transferred to the Kingdom of light (Ephesians 2:2-3). I believe a lot of mistakes happen when someone tries to understand the living Word with their natural mind which cannot be done, (1 Corinthians 2:14)"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

That's why we pray the prayer we had at the beginning, and for the Holy Spirit to help us as our teacher, (John 14:16-17, John 16:13). Now we must clear this up God is not the tempter of any evil (James 1:13) "Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone". So now we can learn how we are tempted, (James 1:14:15) “But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed (meaning beguile) Then when lust hath conceived it brings forth sin: and when it is brings forth death".

So it has to be conceived like a baby, sin doesn’t just happen, a woman needs a mans seed to conceive, we are told how this happens in verse 14 “drawn away” which means enticed. You cannot be enticed with what you don't think on or consider. Now Satan has been stripped of all power (Colossians 2:15) “And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it". So the devil is the tempted, he can only tempt you with your eyes and ears (1 John 2:16) "For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world (meaning the devil)

Now brothers and sisters, the devil can only tempt you the same way he tempted Eve in the garden of eve. He needed a snake to communicate to eve,to put something from this world, which we don't belong to as we are only in it and not of it and so the devil uses people, media, communications etc to entice.

Now we are told that Jesus our Lord was tempted the same way we are but with out sin, as that which is common to man, (1 Corinthians 10:13) There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it”.

So you have the victory already, see it's the law that the devil has used to keep the body of Christ in this bondage based on lies. God gave the Law to show us that we were sinners and needed a Savior JESUS. Now many get confused with this, it's not us breaking the ten commandments that made us sinners, we all inherited it through Adam and Eve, that gave us a sin nature. Their spirit life was cut off from God and the Bible tells us we were dead spiritually (Ephesians 2:1).“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.”

Well brothers and sisters here is a test for each of us to see if we are still under any control of the flesh by reading through Galatians 5:19-21. “Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Now this does not mean in our thoughts – what we think because we know the flesh lusts against the spirit (Galatians 5:17) which we have covered in our other articles, but whether we are acting these out from our thoughts. Remember sin has got to be conceived and this is the good news, yes the Gospel, of the kingdom of God which we now live in means we are free from the Law. If you are born again, everything must be of Gods grace, Grace says done, and if it's not of grace then you are still under the law and religion and legalism. You are still trying to do what Christ has already done for us. It's a lie from the devil, which sad to say has many preachers in unbelief and bondage. That's why we are to walk by faith and not by sight, and to renew our mind (Romans 12:2-3). This is a must if we are to walk in faith and be free from this world’s garbage.

Now that we are born again we are a new creature, (2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if any man be in Christ he is a NEW creature (spirit): old things (spirit) is passed away, behold, all things (spirit) are become new” (brackets mine). The old sin nature was nailed to the cross, (Romans 6:6-7) “Knowing this that our old man (as in spirit, sin nature) IS crucified with him, that the body of sin (notice here sin not sins which man inherited from Adam and Eve), might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin, For he that is dead is freed from sin”.

Which brings us to Romans 6:4 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life”. Praise Jesus amen. Now we really need to get this in our hearts and minds. We are now no longer under the Law, but under GODS GRACE (Romans 6:14). The law was to bring us to Christ (Galatians3:23-25) “But before faith came, we were kept under the Law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto CHRIST, that we might be justified (meaning free, innocent, righteous) by faith (in him), But after that faith is come, we are no longer under the schoolmaster (meaning law)”.

Now this is so important brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, we need to stop looking on this outer man, and look at our new man, our spirit and we do this by planting these truths in our heart, soul which is called the inner man (Ephesians 3:16). “That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man”. Spirit here is not talking about our Spirit as that's complete (1 Corinthians 6:17). It's referring to our hearts (Ephesians 3:17) “That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,”

So we need to renew our hearts/ minds;

“And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness”. Ephesians 4:24

“And be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.” Romans 12:2-3

That's the key and foundation for knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in the Holy Spirit. Now we have got to the point of this background knowledge and revelation in what took place before being born again, where does temptation come from? Big question. There is no Law so then how can we be tempted?

The answer has been given in Gods kingdom, (John 15:12) “This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you”. “And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.” 1 John 3:23

Now temptation comes from outside Gods Kingdom, see God does not impute our sin to anyone in his kingdom and under his grace who are born again, (Romans 5:13) “For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law”.

Someone who sins, has not grown in the knowledge and grace that there is no law anymore as Jesus fulfilled it for us, (Matthew 5:17) “Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil”.

Glory Jesus. The law is awesome and I love it, and the law will always remain for the lost in the kingdom of the devil/ darkness (Matthew 5:18). But now we have been made the righteousness. Jesus brought us into righteousness when he was baptised, (Matthew 3:15) “And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him”.

(Romans 10:10) “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation”.

If you are born again you are now made righteous, in your spirit,

(1 Corinthians 1:30) “But of him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness (defined as justification which means not guilty, acquittal), and sanctification (meaning purity, holiness), and redemption”.

We need to recognise this truth to be able to fellowship with our Father, Spirit to spirit (John 3:6) “That which is born of flesh is flesh, and that which is born of Spirit is spirit”.

So to conclude this article on temptation, the devil has no right to you, he can only tempt you if you don't know or understand who you are in Christ.

Part 5: Conviction and Righteousness

Now this is the foundation to these truths and revelations, The Cross of Jesus Christ our blessed Lord and Savior. Now as always I use my own witness to the truth of Gods word, if you had read my testimony and my other brothers and sisters in this ministry, then you would have seen that we were held in bondage of the law, legalism and religion. So my understanding was that it was and is the Holy Spirit that convicts of sin (vines concordance definitions of sin are shame, offend, his fault).

Now remember when the Bible refers to sin and sins they are not the same. So sin, as I explained in our other articles, that particular sin was what we all inherited from Adam and Eve, we became spiritually dead in our sin (Ephesians 2:1-2, Romans 3:23, Romans 3:20). I believe we all understand what sin is and so we are under Gods grace thank you Lord. Now we all know that Jesus died on the Cross for us, thank you Lord. But brothers and sisters we are not meant to stay there and knowing this is the key. Our old spirit which was dead which had the sin nature was taken to the Cross (Romans 6:6). “Knowing this, that our old man (meaning spirit, sin nature that was dead) is crucified with Him (who is Jesus) that the body of sin (as in sin nature) might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin”. We are a new creature in our spirits (2 Corinthians 5:17) “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things, (as in sin nature) are passed away, behold, all things are become new”.

So let's move on now at the cross Jesus died for all sins from Adam and Eve, that was the root of all sins, and it needed to be dealt with and it was and He is risen as we all know bless Him. “He is despised and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him, he was despised, and we esteemed him not, Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions (meaning sin, trespass, transgression) he was bruised for our iniquities (meaning sin, fault) the chastisement (meaning rebuke, chasten, correction) of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Him the iniquity (meaning sins) of us all” Isaiah 53:3-6.

And these verses,

John the Baptist said in John 1:29 “The next day John coming unto him, and said, Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.”

“And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21

“To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified (meaning holy, purified - me and you that are born again) by faith that is in me.” Acts 26:18

“Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father” Galatians 1:4

“In whom we have redemption (meaning deliverance, salvation) through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7

“Since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus, and of the love which ye have to all the saints” Colossians1:4

So we know that our sins have been forgiven past, present and future, now to the big question about the Holy Spirit and conviction of sins. Why would the Holy Spirit convict a born again Christian knowing that Jesus died for their sins? Now that is not correct and doesn’t make any sense. That's like saying Jesus I know you went to the cross for their sins, but I have got to convict them! Jesus took us to the cross with Him. We’re dead to sins, and alive unto Christ, we’re no longer under the law, but under grace (Romans all of chapter 8). Now I no where the understanding has come from because I always believed the same until God opened the eyes of my heart to see the truth.

“And when he (the Holy Spirit) is come, he will reprove (meaning convict) the world of sin, (question which sin? well the sin nature from Adam and Eve), and of righteousness and of judgment (meaning damnation, accusation, condemnation - strongs concordance)” John 16:8. Did you see the word condemnation? Well Romans 8:1 gives us the answer to that. “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Then in John 16:9, “Of sin, because they believe not on me”. It's in black and white, this is the only sin God is holding man accountable for, and we have accepted Christ.

The Word tells us that no one can come to the Father unless the Holy Spirit draws us, and once He has completed that you are then born again. Now look at this “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing (John 15:4-5).

Now in those verses Jesus is telling us that we are in Him, and He is in us, (1 Corinthians 6:17) “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”. Now how can He convict Himself? He can’t! Now I could go on and on with this, but I needed to get the point over to set you free. I look at it like this, the Holy Spirit brings us to our knees to be born again from the sin nature that the Holy Spirit reveals to us and then we get born again (John 16:9). And we all know what sin does, (Genesis 3:10) “And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid (meaning fear) because I was naked, and I hid myself”. Now that's not good fear. The Word tells us we have not been given a spirit of fear, but one of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Again in Romans 8:15, “For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.”

Now we know we cannot grow in our walk in Gods grace with this garbage in our hearts before us, our spiritual walk won't bear fruit. We cannot fellowship with our Loving Father otherwise, He is holy, righteous and so He has made us the same, Spirit to spirit. Your spirit is holy and righteous, (Ephesians 4:24) “And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness”.

You are clean and just. How can anyone walk by faith if you are not seeing who you are in the spirit, the kingdom of God, “Therefore being justified (meaning innocent, righteous) by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1). “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith as it is written, the just (meaning innocent, righteous) shall live by faith” (Romans 1:17). I pray that you can see and understand, now let's get to the bottom of this

“For if our heart condemn (meaning find fault, blame) us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things,” (1 John 3:20). So you can see there it's not the Holy Spirit.

“Who shall lay a charge of Gods elect? It is God that justifieth (meaning innocent). Who is it that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that he is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us”. Romans 8:33-34

Now read through the 5 chapters of 1 John. There is a verse that a lot of Christians struggle to see why it's there as it looks out of place to the rest of this book, or letter which is 1 John 1:9, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness”. This is an awesome book, which is talking about confessing our sins, and getting cleansed from all unrighteousness, (iniquity, unjust, wrong). True that's before we got born again but we don't have this nature anymore. So we came to the cross for forgiveness of sins because if you read on look at this verse,

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him (as in spirit man, new man): and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.” 1 John 3:8-9

So you are born again with Gods seed word, Jesus is the word, the Holy Spirit is one with you. You are in the light, all that is of God is what you are in your spirit, “We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself (meaning with the truth), and that wicked one toucheth him not” 1 John 5:18

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement: because as He (meaning Jesus) is so are we in this world,” 1 John 4:17

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin” 1 John 1:7

This is an awesome revelation and why it’s so important to fellowship with the Lord and the Holy Spirit and our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ every day amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

Read the whole chapter of John 17. Brothers and sisters, the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to teach us all truth in righteousness in the kingdom of God, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost” Romans 14:17. Now I believe this has given some understanding about the Blessed Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is here to glorify Jesus. “He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.” John 16:14

Now there are many roles that the ministry of the Holy Spirit Himself and the Word which is inspired by Him, is to change if you go to school daily before Him so that He can teach and guide you. To show who we are now in the kingdom of God as sons and daughters and to have the awesome relationship we have with our loving Heavenly Father, (Colossians 3:10) “And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him”

Recognising who we are in our born again spirit, and we should all get to the place as our brother Paul did, (Galatians 2:20) “I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST NEVERTHELESS I LIVE! YET NOT I BUT CHRIST! LIVETH IN ME:AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY YHE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME”

We are to live and bring glory to Him, by the Spirit of life, “And if Christ be in you (meaning if you are born again), the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you” Romans 8:10-11

Now satan is the one that's has been keeping so many of us in bondage thinking that it is the Holy Spirit convicting us, or your own conscience. Have a look at John 16:11, “Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged”. Now we know how he is judged the same way man is by the Law in Exodus 20:13-16. In fact all of the law which Jesus confirms all of those things in John 10:10. “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly”

We know satans outcome is the lake of fire, “Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels” Matthew 25:41. So satan and his imps have their destiny awaiting them.

Satan is your enemy but he is defeated brothers and sisters, you see its knowing the truth that sets you free, it's the devil that's accuses Christians of sins. “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ (meaning in you): for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night” Revelations 12:10.

Satan is judged and condemned and he is the one trying to bring you under his control and bondage. So stir yourself up, and get that armour on which is our Fathers which he gives it unto us (Ephesians 6:13:18). Look at verse 14 “Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness”. So our Father gives us His armour then uses unrighteousness against the righteous. How can this be so? It can’t! “Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works” Romans 4:6. Also Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified (meaning innocent) in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged”.

So we conclude this article here. The devil is FINISHED brothers and sisters. We are in the last days, and our Lord is coming for his church so let's be ready and full with the Holy Spirit, There is going to be a last big sweep of the Holy Spirit before we get taken away, then God will start judging as we see in the book of revelation. Continue to walk in your freedom don't let any man or woman take what we have in Christ. The only thing we are not exempt from is temptation which we will see why in the next chapter and persecution, which the devil can only use people for (Ephesians 6:12) and false preachers, teachers etc (1 John 4:1, 2 Timothy 3-4).

We really need to separate ourselves from this world just like all did before us (Hebrews 11). God loves you all in Jesus name amen.

Part 6: The conscience

The conscience is the part of our soul which gives us an awareness of what is right and what is wrong through our thoughts which either accuse us or excuse us (Romans 2:15).

Now over time God has been giving us revelation knowledge about the conscience and how important this is to our Christian walk of faith. This truth will set you free and it is important to understand that it is our responsibility and not God’s to deal with as you will see.

So we start at Genesis 3:6-11 where Adam and Eve were separated from God for eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,

“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, (so question? were there eyes closed walking about before? No they were using the eyes of there spirit, remember Spirit is spirit, and flesh is flesh) and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden. Then the LORD God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”

This is where we see the fall of man and if we focus on verse 7 we can see the first account of the conscience in action,

“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings”

The conscience condemned them and they felt shame and guilt from eating off the tree.

Now we believe that God never created man with a conscience because before the fall adam and eve had a perfect relationship with God and they never needed one. They both were perfect in Spirit so it was and always will be Spirit to spirit, (John 3:6) “That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit”. So that's why God could fellowship with them in the garden of Eden, but then they fell by taking heed to the liar the devil and they were no longer spirit. They died as God said they would (Genesis 2:17), “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die (meaning Spirit to spirit was cut off and has now come to an end)”.

“Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come (meaning JESUS)” Romans 5:14

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23.

Man then became controlled by his soul and flesh. Then God removed them from the garden (Genesis 3:23). The conscience is the conclusion of their actions in their disobedience of God’s command and the conscience was acquired through the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The name of that tree describes the function of the conscience. So can we trust or should we trust our conscience?

We believe the conscience is where sin starts and we must always remember the word sin here and not ‘sins’. God’s one command was not to eat off that tree. The sin nature that all of humanity inherited was because of this one sin (Romans 5:12), “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned”. This was the start of sin until the sins detailed in the Law of Moses which we don’t need to get into because as born again Christians we are not under the law but under Gods Grace. Not under the letter (2 Corinthians 3:6) “Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter (meaning law), but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life”.

“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death” Romans 8:2

“But if you be led of the Spirit ye are not under the law” Galatians 5:18.

Thank you Jesus Glory amen. The law has the function of pointing out sin in our lives (Romans 3:20, 7:7) but we no longer have to keep the requirements of the law to earn God’s approval (Romans 6:14, 7:6).So we can see the affects our conscience can have on us, it's of the flesh, soul, and therefore cannot be trusted. Paul said I have no confidence in the flesh, Jesus said the flesh profits nothing, but the spirit gives life, the flesh is weak.

One of the main differences between the Old Covenant and the New Covenant is that the old could not make a persons heart or conscience clean before God, it is only through Jesus Christ’s shed blood that our hearts can be purged of guilt (Hebrews 9:9, 9:14, 10:4, 10:11, 10:22). And some more positives which you can look up for yourself, I encourage you to have your Bibles open, (Romans 13:5, 1 Corinthians 8:7-12, 10:25, 2 Corinthians 1:12, 1 Timothy 1:5-19, 3:9, 2 Timothy 1:3, 1 Peter 2:19, 3:16-21). So from 1 Timothy 1:19, “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck”. If our conscience is affected by guilt etc then it affects our faith and becomes shipwrecked and not active. So again do we trust our conscience?

Even those who never directly received God’s commandments like the Gentiles still possess a basic natural moral code or law that judges what they do (Romans 2:14). In Romans 1:18-20 Paul tells us that God has revealed Himself to all mankind and Romans 2:15 tells us that the Lord has placed knowledge of Himself within the heart of every human being and it is the conscience which bears witness,

“for when Gentiles, who do not have the law, by nature do the things in the law, these, although not having the law, are a law to themselves, who show the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing or else excusing them” Romans 2:14-15.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,” Romans 1:18-20

Let’s look at John 8:3-9,

“Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst, they said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. “Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” This they said, testing Him, that they might have something of which to accuse Him. But Jesus stooped down and wrote on the ground with His finger, as though He did not hear. So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” And again He stooped down and wrote on the ground. Then those who heard it, being convicted by their conscience, went out one by one, beginning with the oldest even to the last. And Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst.”

Verse 9 says, “And they which heard it being convicted by their own conscience”. This is a great eye opener; it doesn’t say the Holy Spirit is convicting them. No it's their own conscience. Why? Because of the law minded, so they left. So brothers and sisters this should not be so for those that are born again with the Spirit of Life now ruling in our lives. So can you see how much the conscience can have an impact on your walk of being the just (righteous) who live by faith.

Even though people are aware they have a conscience, the Bible tells us that it is weak and can be defiled,

“To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.” Titus 1:15. So the latter part of this verse is for the lost, the unbelievers and not us who are born again as our spirits are now pure for ever.

“However, there is not in everyone that knowledge; for some, with consciousness of the idol, until now eat it as a thing offered to an idol; and their conscience, being weak, is defiled.” 1 Corinthians 8:7

Now I hope and pray that you have read our article about conviction and righteousness as it would have given you a better understanding about the Holy Spirit, sin and sins because sin will affect your conscience, which in turn affects your faith and your relationship with our Lord (1 Timothy 1:5), “Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned”. 1 Timothy 1:19 “Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck”. 1 Timothy 4:1-2 “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times (meaning NOW) some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy (meaning deceit, condemnation); having their conscience seared with a hot iron”. Now the key to the way this is put forward is all for a reason which you will see.

These are illustrations,

Let’s look at David’s prayer in Psalm 139:23-34,

“Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

Now we know as born again Christians we are baptized in the Holy Spirit, (1 Corinthians 6:17) “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”. But David was not born again, he never was a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Now we know that as the Lord is so are we in our spirits. So what about our hearts which is part of our soul? Well brothers and sisters, we don't get taught this at church in fact these revelations of wisdom and insight is by seeking, because you will find them in Jesus name amen.

And look at 1 John 3:20,

“For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.

“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” Hebrews 10:19-22

“how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” Hebrews 9:14

As Christians, like Paul, we should have the same understanding (Acts 23:1) “And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day”. Acts 24:16 “And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men”. Now this is the same Paul we all know about. Now I highlighted the word exercise. This is the key brothers and sisters; you see Paul knew his conscience would affect his walk of faith and in fellowship with our Lord in the Kingdom of light, what a turn around, Glory Jesus amen. We need to tell our conscience, that you are righteous, holy, clean, just, God conscience, then we are giving place for our spirit man, with the Holy Spirit to direct our thoughts and our ways (Romans 12:1-2, Romans 8:5, 5:11).

Now we are going to go on a walk of faith in the Word, which the Holy Spirit has revealed to us. As we know we did inherit the sin nature from Adam and Eve, but we no longer have that nature, it's dead and gone, we now have the new nature of Christ Jesus. Let's go to Galatians 3:13, “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree”

Now I asked our Lord the question, why a tree? So I was taken back to the garden of Eden, Adam was cursed (Genesis 3:17-18) “And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field”.

Now those thorns were thorns they put on Jesus head (Mark 15:17) “And they clothed him with purple, and platted a crown of thorns, and put it about his head”.

See brothers and sisters this was a curse, it was a command given by God not to eat, so it was a law, now for Eve (Genesis 3:16)

“Unto the woman he said I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception,

(Now I cannot comment on that I'm not a woman, but I do have a wife and children, and others I have known did not have bad conceptions as others, but the curse was put on Christ).

In sorrow thou shalt bring forth children, and thy desire shall be to thy husband and he shall rule over thee,”

Now this last part is not true, we men and woman are equal so that curse was removed.

In fact all from the garden unto the cross, IT IS FINISHED. And the veil, between man and God is wide open (Mark 15:38) “And the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom”. Back to the garden of Eden, its wide open now, we are now the temple of God (1 Corinthians 7:4). So we know satans fate (Gen 3:14-15), let's go back to the trees in the garden (Gen 2:8-9-10),

“And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads.”

Now I believe this was a spiritual garden, as you will see how I come to this revelation. They walked with God in the cool of the day, they heard him, and heard him walk. Now we know after they had eaten from the tree of good and evil, they became natural minded and therefore received the conscience. God removed them from that spirit realm of where life was (Spirit to spirit), and then man was left to the natural realm, led by the soul, mind, heart, which we know could not be trusted (Genesis 8:21, Psalms 51:10). Jesus said out the abundance the heart the mouth speaks (lies, etc). Our article on the heart goes into more detail, but there is always Good news in the Gospel of the kingdom of God. We have been given a new heart too, just a couple of verses on this to highlight the point (Ezekiel 36:26-27, Jeremiah 31:34, Jeremiah 24:7).

So man has been looking for the Garden of Eden but cannot find it, they know where the rivers are but not the Garden of Eden. Well we can find where that Garden of Eden is with the trees, and river, and tree of life which we know is Christ Jesus. The Kingdom of God where we live and walk by faith of the heart and not the mind (Revelation 22:1-2),

“And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb (meaning which now lives in us). In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations”.

So then it came to my mind where is the tree of good and evil? Then the Lord gave me the answer. That tree was the tree I was crucified on, My people I have restored ALL things unto you. So brothers and sisters, there is no more a tree for conscience, just like everything in the Kingdom of God is restored. That's why God has given us a new spirit, a new heart, a heart that he leads and directs our paths in righteousness, holy, redeemed, just. As we go to school, the Holy Spirit our Teacher leads us, all that is needed He has it all, wisdom, revelations, insight, everything. That's why we are so so very blessed, with ALL spiritual blessings in heaven (Ephesians 1:1-3),

“Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” Which is Christ in you the hope of all glory, dig in brothers and sisters to the word of life in your new man spirit with the Holy Spirit to the praise and glory in Christ Jesus our blessed Lord amen.

So we need to get ourselves grounded in the Word, the Word of encouragement “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just (meaning innocent, righteous), whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” Philippians 4:8. “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning” James 1:17. Amen

Brothers and sisters, once you see where you live, walk and breath in the Kingdom of Christ, the devil is finished. Generation after generation have taken too much deception and it's time to break free. I and others in this ministry have been putting all this to work. Why? Because it's truth and the truth sets you free (John 8:32), and God is committed to His Word.

This series has been a real eye opener. Bearing in mind that the devil has no direct access to your mind, we are all blessed so receive all your blessings in Christ Jesus our Blessed Lord and Savior and King of Kings in the Kingdom of light. Thank you Father in Jesus name amen.

(Brackets) within scripture have been added by me to emphasise and define further the word in question.
